The KN95 Protective Respirator (Face Mask) provides reliable protection against dust, aerosols, and other fine airborne particles. It is ideal for everyday use in beauty salons, pedicure and nail salons, massage studios, wellness centres, healthcare facilities, and any professional environment where enhanced respiratory protection is required.

The respirator offers a filtration efficiency of at least 95% and complies with EN149:2001+A1:2009 (FFP2) standards. Its 4-layer construction, combined with an ergonomic 3D design, ensures a comfortable fit and effective sealing. The adjustable nose clip improves the fit and enhances comfort during extended wear.

The respirator effectively filters fine dust, aerosols, pollen, and other airborne particles. It is especially suitable for procedures that generate fine dust, such as nail filing, pedicure treatments, working with acrylic or gel products, as well as cleaning and other technical tasks.

Each respirator is individually hygienically packed, ensuring clean storage, hygienic handling, and convenient use in professional environments.

Are ordinary medical masks or respirators suitable for viruses?

It is important to know that neither masks or respirators (respiratory masks) can guarantee 100% virus protection. Masks without filtration are intended for partial protection, as they hold the coughed or sneezed infectious micro-droplets away from transmitting, which means that they protect the environment from the sick person. The respirator or respiratory mask, when worn, filters the air you inhale and catches harmful substances from entering your respiratory system. The use of a respirator is ancillary protection as well as protective goggles or protective clothing. The respirator is a disposable protective device and it is recommended to replace it after 6-8 hours of use.

Which respirator to choose for protection against bacteria and viruses?

One of the most widespread are respirators marked KN95 and N95. This label shall provide protection to the wearer against 95% airborne particles with a diameter of 0.3 μm or greater. The designation FFP2 is equivalent to the protection of KN95 and N95. Respirators with protection class FFP3 (EN1409) have a filtering effect of over 99% and are intended especially for medical professionals.

How to put on a mask?

Thorough hand hygiene with soap and warm water is required before use. After washing your hands, place the top of the respirator against your face and then press the bottom of the respirator to the face. When the respirator adheres perfectly to your face, adjust the elastic straps to keep it in a secure position. A properly worn protective mask must be close to the face and cover the mouth, nose and chin. Men should be shaven as the beard can cause leaks. When removing the mask, touch only the straps, not the part that has filtered the air.
